Margarete presents itself as a German contemporary but it is more just contemporary as its menu has French and Asian dishes. The food is good and do is the service. If you are looking for authentic German, their Bistro up front is more local.

Great atmosphere for Sunday brunch. The restaurant has a trendy and upbeat vibe. The food is great and the servings quite big. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries.

The food is very good. You can spend a lot of time there and relax, read the books. If you have any questions, the friendly people always try to help you.
Went on a Saturday night, they had a table. Service was friendly and efficient. The food and beer were very good and a reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to go again

Margarete uses mostly locally-sources ingredients to make their dishes, which focus on modern takes on regional classics. Delicious food, great flavors! The wine list is better than basic but generally lackluster. Decent prices (dinner for two with wine and water = about 100 Euros).
