Found this cozy place on our walking trip and stopped here to have lunch. We were sitting in their winter garden which was pleasant. The concept of soup buffet turned out to be of great value. The four soups available were all tasty and the wine was very good.

We stopped here for lunch as part of our tour package. Our group of 30+ rolled in to fill the front section of this rather large restaurant. When I say large, as you explore you begin to find other rooms and seating areas as well as a charming courtyard. We were limited to a few choices for lunch. I had... More

My first visit in this place was in 2014 and I had the following in mind: Unfriendly waitress, moreover not willing to serve us but we decided to stay because we wanted to taste this so called "Roter Rauscher". I have to admit this drink is really tasty (delightful) - so sweet that you won't taste the alcohol :) Two... More

The restaurant is in a hotel of the same name and we stayed here for one night on a cycle trip. We had recommendations that this was the best place to eat in town and we were certainly impressed with the meals. Originally we had planned to eat only lunch there but the courtyard was nice, shady and quiet, and the... More

Obviously it is not difficult to find a café or restaurant selling a Rudeshheim Kaffe, but it is worth going to the Zum Grunen Kranz for the experience of watching the process of creating it at your table.

We ate here as part of our tour. They did a great job getting everyone's food out when it was still warm and they were quick with our drinks as well. We had the schnitzel which was delicious. He mushroom gravel was excellent. Good atmosphere and the old wine equipment was cool to look at.

My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I decided to eat here because the menu seemed quite good and boasted many local specialities. We sat ourselves down on their terrace across from the main building and a waiter assured us he would come by. He didn't, so we got the menu ourselves, but it still took us 20 minutes to flag him... We were granted the privilege of a traditional Ruedesheim coffee, including the liquor and whipped cream. Delightful! took home a small bottle

We went with a tour group from a boat with the advise from the leader to try the Kaffee, fun was had by all, others went back to boat, but my husband and I both stayed there there a beautiful dinner outside with some local wine and another coffee. A super threesome was also playing music and got the patrons... More

I sat inside at a table for at least 10 minutes and was completely ignored! The waiter was too busy arranging accommodation for another diner! I heard the whole conversation as I sat there wondering when I was going to be even given a menu! After ten minutes I walked out!
