We are dinner here around 9/9:30 after a long drive from Italy. The staff spoke English for us and were prompt attending to us. They were very kind and sweet! The food came out quickly and was very good. It brought back memories of my childhood in Germany! My daughter's absolutely loved it too! The portion sizes are perfect! Only... More

I assume it is or was a family run business as the level of service is very personal. Despite that we cannot speak German, they made us feel very welcome. The food was very homy, packed with flavour and felt like I had a true German taste experience. The wine list is extensive, so if you have a love for... More

My colleagues in Wiesbaden made reservations here to take us out to dinner recently and it was fantastic. There is a ton of history here as it is one of the few old buildings not to be destroyed in WWII – it dates back to 1812! The restaurant is all wood with amazing decorations and is also small so reservations... More

This quaint little restaurant is a hidden gem in Wiesbaden. If you are seeking authentic German fare, this is the place to get it. The atmosphere is perfect typical German, as is the food. The building was built in 1812, it has been a food establishment since 1860, and is one of the oldest and most tradition-rich eateries in the... More

I had dinner there with the "duck menu" that they prepare from october to christmas. Almost impossible to get a reservation for the next week, finally they squeezed me at 18:00. Simply delicious! Best duck I have ever had! With chestnuts, dumplings, mmmm. Excellent!

We have lived in Wiesbaden for almost two years and found this restaurant thru this site. Our first time there was for our anniversary and the food, atmosphere, service and overall experience was fantastic. The care and detail in every aspect was easily recognizable as top quality! We will definitely be returning and telling everyone we know what a wonderful... More

Great German atmosphere. The salad was very good. I had one of the house specials, cordon blue, it was ok. Very large portions. My wife hand the onion schnitzel which was two large schnitzel covered with onions. We were served German potatoes family style in a large bowl. This was a lot of food so bring an appetite. They had... More

We spent one day and one night in Wiesbaden and while the remainder of the trip was memorable for the right reasons our visit to Bobbeschankelche stodd head and shoulders above the rest of our stay. The restaurant has an unassuming exterior but like many traditional restaurants is warm and hospitable inside. We arrived without a reservation and despite being... More
