It is absolutely amazing. The atmopshere, the service and, of course, the cakes. Go to the second floor and have a seat next to the window and enjoy a true moment of relax...

I ordered a capuccino and a Carola cake, and I really recommend them! The ambiance of the place was superb. Really fancy! Try to go well dressed :p

Just purchased some pastries and gift chocolates here; oh and a berliner. Service was fast and friendly. They even offered to gift wrap the chocolates that I purchased for a friend. They had an excellent selection of pastry, so it was hard to make a decision. Nice place!

German pastries and coffee at its best, great for an afternoon coffee or just anytime you feel like having something sweet. Very famous amongst locals.

We bought some confections from this famous bakery for a celebration, and we were not disappointed! We opted for their unique creation, the Georgia Augusta torte, and their special version of the Baumkuchen. And we shared a plum torte on the walk back the car. Everything was delicious. The cakes are not inexpensive, but I did not think the prices... More

Every time we go home to Germany to visit our family Cron & Lanz is one of our obligatory stops. The pastries are to die for, made on site, delicious, with an extraordinary diversity, and fairly priced. It is a busy place, with ample seating upstairs that can get crowded on weekends and holidays, or just abut any day! Service... More

If you love traditional German baking at its ethereal best then Cron und Lanz is very hard to surpass. The cake display is a feast for the eyes and when it comes to selection indecision is totally understandable. Since fresh raspberries were in season it was not a hard choice and came down to the Himbeeren Torte. The plum torte... More

C&L is a perfect place for ancient homemade torte, handmade pralines, chocolate and coffee house atmosphere. It doesn't matter if you sit outside in the pedestrian zone in front of C&L, at the 2nd floor or on the patio for breakfast, brunch, torte or pralines along with coffee specialities, tea or my favorite Vienna Melange and Bohemian Plums.

Ok, so it's a hangout for elderly couples and ladies who lunch, but for a bit of old school grandeur and nice crockery, you can't beat it. Cake was tasty, and I didn't find the portion small as other reviewers seem to have found. Service was efficient and formal, but not rude. Wish I'd had time to go back and... More
