Great Schnitzel and typical Austrian food served in an attractive and very comfortable environment. But that's where it stops - Gruber's somehow lacks "real emotion" and wow factor for my likings. Solid but boring.

We stumbled onto this restaurant by chance and it was the nicest lunch we had. We sat in the sun drinking lovely Austrian wines and the food was simply gorgeous. The staff were excellent too, meaning this was a nice "escape" from central Cologne.
