I'm not a one who loves cabbage, but I've tried a dish with cabbage here (pork, potato mash and cabbage). It was quite tasty. The personnel is extremely friendly. The place is cozy inside, but I preferred to stay outside, under the heater though. Everything was just fine, thank you guys and keep going! My check was about 23 euro... More

We went there for lunch with the kids. It was great to stay there for an hour or two. I guess it must have been the owner who talked to us, even presented a hand-written Mandarin menu and made sure we had a good time. I enjoyed it.

Eclectic decor which seems to focus on what I must presume is the current or former owners love of the game of golf. Friendly, efficient service. The goulash was delicious and heartwarming, given the cold weather outside on the day I dined there and the Wiener Schnitzel was also very good.

The waiters are tradition, some work there for 30 years, and they do recognize their regulars and those, like me, who have not been present in 2 years. The KOELSCH is flowing freely, great draft, keep it coming, is tradition. Never an empty glas in sight. The locale is in a walk-zone which does not mean that motorcyclist shave your... More

We were looking for a place to have lunch on our first day in Cologne and walked past this restaurant. One of the friendly gentlemen talked us through the menu and gave his recommendations as we had never eaten German food before. We had kölsch, schnitzel and various sausages which were all filling portions served with salad. If you're coming... More

Service was initially good. However, we had to wait a VERY long time, then the order was incorrect. Waiter became rude, refused to correct the order, and charged full price. There are far better restaurants nearby.

At first appearances whilst passing by we nearly considered giving this very delightful restaurant a miss. We were very pleased to have reconsidered and would have lost out on tremendous experience. This gem of a typical German restaurant presented to be the most hospital welcome we received in our 21 day trip of Germany. Our host was a supurb entertainer... More

Our first meal in Koln, we were approached by a friendly older gentleman while checking out their menu outside the front doors. The meals were typical German pub fare (huge and filling) and the beer was, of course, delicious Kolsch. The waiters were busy but friendly. The only odd thing was the interior...looked like they had just finished having a... More
