Nice, crowded room, full od young people. There are a lot items on meni considering pasta, picas, italian pomodoro soup, or many types of salads with fresh vegetables. All recommendations.

On main St, you take a card and find a seat, but then have to queue up in the various queues for pasta, pizza etc. took a long time, but calzone was good and so was the prawn risotto.Noisy and casual.
The food at Vapianos is good,you have a full choice of dishes going from starters over entrees to dessert the food is prepared by cooks while you stand there and it will be spiced to your taste. Good food, okay prices, no deviation from the standard Vapiano experience. Location is fairly nice at the very center of Dortmund. Try to get a seat outside with good weather and order the Pesto & Spinaci pizza.
Was years ago when I ate at Vapiano in Berlin. It was nice. This time here in Dortmund was just so so. Very crowed, so a very long waiting time. The pizza was OK, but not special.
