I live here in Essen! I walk by maybe everyday, I never thought to try this place until today! When a friend of me told us about it, and she was very excited about the place. And listen to, SHE WAS RIGHT! It's not a normal café or restaurant, it is a perfect place if you want to study, or... More

I stayed in the Hotel, had breakfast here, and enjoyed an evening walking through the location with loads of contemporary art of all kinds. This needs some serious time if you want to see it all!

We went with friends in winter. Nice warm and lots of things to do. From painting, watching TV, playing tennis or other board games. Relaxing and much more. All non-alcoholic drinks are included in entry fee. Can also go for reading as they have lots of books in their library or bring your own.

Visited with a friend who took me to see the artists and art work, the restaurant was a side attraction for us. The outside of the building reflects the nature of the work inside, reminded me a little bit of centre beaubourg (centre george pompidou) in paris with the industrial piping on the outside of the building. The building with... More

I went to this restaurant for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the vast array of healthy food and drink items available. The staff were all friendly. I enjoyed green tea and some scrambled eggs (special order) among other treats. The place is not just a restaurant but features art galleries, conference rooms, living accommodations, etc. The big fat red... More

I attended a day-long business conference here and the unique setting with artists' work throughout offered a truly different feeling over the average meeting. The lunch buffet offered a lot of variety with food that was good but not great. A wonderful environment for a meeting that was definitely outside the norm.

We went there as part of a social event night and we had a good time. There is a buffet available most of the day as far as i understood and it's all you can eat. The food though is of medium quality and not very tasty but it's edible. There is also all you can drink with respect to... More
