Went there as a group of 9, it’s a massive place good beer in the tubes and the pork knuckle is a must on any trip to Germany. If we return to Mainz then Eisgrub is definitely on the program

Easy to get a table although it was very busy. Food was fine and exactly as wanted, beer was very good, price was very reasonable. Had a thoroughly good time.
Typical german long tables, microbrewery good beers, traditional food, in between the beer vessels, in caves in the hill. Like a dream ;-)
