This restaurant offer wide selection of localise beer and food. Especially German sausage and typical local food. But service not too friendly eventhough highly recommended by local people

This is a pub serving good food, situated below the Brühlsche terrace by the river. The menu is German. On this occasion I had trout served with potatoes and a tasty cucumber salad. I've eaten here on previous visits to Dresden, because it's reliable. Recommended.

Our dining experience was perfect, with a friendly waiter who helped us understand the menu to get the best offered that nite. They are famous for their beer too which is not bad to find out. I had fish and my hubby had a delicious pork dish. We sat quite close to our neighbors but I find it refreshing while... More

We had some drinks and large portions of ice cream. This is really nice place to have a small break and view over river Elbe.

With views of the Elb river this restaurant with local cuisine is well worth a visit. After trying all the usual German meals such as sausages, etc, I decided to bite the bullet and go for the pig's knuckle - after all it said 'half' so I figured I could handle that - wrong! I think I managed a bit... More

We had a lunch but the service was not good enough. They claim that they had free wi-fi but we were not able to connect. The food was average.

After a very showery day the sun broke through late afternoon and the outside terrace of this restaurant started to fill up. We got the last free table. The veal schnitzels were superb,(although a bit expensive) washed down with a nice cold beer. The terrace proved to be quite a sun trap but the inside areas were really nice.

Nice summer terrace with a view on the Elba. Just next to the old town. We had a bier and some sausage with sour cabbage, horseradish and potato salad. It was of very good quality. I went down to see the interior. It is old style - elegant wood, very cosy. Putin and Schröder had a dinner here in 2001,... More

Enjoyed the fantastic weather and view. Trout excellent, also the Riesling. One overlooks the Elbe and sees countless people enjoying the shore on the other side. Very picturesque and the walk along the Elbe in this area is lovely.

Charming little beer hall located next to the river (and some great views of the other bank of Dresden) and good beer on offer. Was not to busy when I was there but would imagine that in summer time it will be very popular.
