Bit pricey for the kind of product they have. Waiting time was also surprisingly high as the place was not packed. Even tho, food was delicious but they can also abuse less of the salt on their tomato sauce. In general, not a bad place...to go but the expectatives were too high.More

Unfortunately, as a vegan chef, is very hard for me to be surprised. This was finally the day! Best experience ever - inspired, delighted and fulfilled. Great ingredient’s quality, wonderful menu, perfect portions. Would come back often if was not living sooooooo far away! Top...top top!! Thanks for the great work!More

One of the absolutely best Vegan dishes I ever had. Taste and texture was perfect, everything felt fresh and genuine. Staff very friendly, a must to visit if you looking for good vegan food!

If I should just evaluate food i would give 5 but to have a starter and a main corse, a waiting time of 2h and 30min is not acceptable. At the end i renounced to ask for the sweet. I would recommend to go in...any case but with 2h30m advance. If it is trouth that waiting encrease the desire is better not making people wait to much 🙃More

I am not veggie but the lunch we had was wonderful. Great use of spices and really interesting combinations. Highly recommended. It is small so probably better to book a table.

Leipzig is a great city for veggie lovers, full of restaurants and nice places dedicated to vegetarians and vegans. But Zest is by far the best. Sure, you'll find cheaper places, but the quality of the dishes is not even comparable to the others. First...of all, it potentially appeals to anybody, even non-vegetarians, with dishes that are constant on the menu like the famous soja steak, that is so tasty it is impossible not to love. Second, it has great variety, with great sandwiches for lunch, and regular changes in the menu once every two months. This guarantees that you'll be happy to go back to see what's new, and try new combinations that never failed to surprise me in many years. Great place, absolutely recommended.More

OK, nowadays I'm a vegetarian and on my way to becoming vegan. But this was my favourite restaurant in Leipzig even when I was eating bacon and pork belly! The changing menu, the love for the produce, the beautiful plating, the subtle flavours... one easily...forgets that there are no animal products being served here.More

This was our second visit to Zest and we were not disappointed. Mind you, in order to book a table on a Saturday evening we had to eat early (1700hrs) because it's so popular and that is completely unsurprising because it's a real gem of...a restaurant. At first sight it looks small and somewhat spartan with its plain wooden tables and chairs but do not be put off! The menu is not vast but the quality of the dishes is superb and the service friendly. My husband (who is a meat-eater) was once again amazed at just how tasty his meal was. The portions are generous (I couldn't finish my linguini dish) and beautifully presented. There are some interesting drinks available as well which are well worth a try. Definitely worth seeking out this little place.More

I'm telling you people, this was one of the best things I've ever eaten! Whether you're a vegan or not, I highly recommend coming here and trying some of the food because it's so interesting and diverse. It took quite a while to place our...order and then to get the food, that's why I'm only giving the place 4 stars. But still, I promise you won't regret eating here!More

We are not vegans but were brought here by vegans. We have had vegan food in other places especially in the States at some of the highly touted vegan restaurants. I have to say that we thought this was the best vegan food we have...ever had.More
