This is part of the oldest preserved railway station in Germany. The new station is built below the old station. We took some nice photos of the old station but was able to visit the restaurant here.

The restaurant is located in a former old train station nearby the city center. It convinces by a great atmosphere, perfect service, delicious food and fair prices. For sure I will come back again.

Absolutely beautiful setting for good food and great beer. Braumeisterpfanne and their Gose is a killer combination. They have 4 of their own beers available. It's a bit far from the city center but on a sunny day it's a nice walk. You can stop at the Panorama Tower on the way.

Was there for an evening. It was a big business meeting with large buffet. The food was good, I heard the beer is excellent and the staff is professional and friendly. The location itself is charming and classic. If Will ever come back to Leipzig I will go there again.

What they say about this in other reviews is right, very nice, modern with great station stuff and atmosphere. Only stopped for a Gose, menu looked okay, but was nice for a quick beer or more. Slightly off track but is a small town.

We stopped in on the recommendation of an acquaintance and were very happy. The food was excellent and the traditional Gose beer was a perfect pairing. Definitely recommend a stop by. For a quaint dinner with a small group you can reserve the table in a small, original rail car which is parked in the lobby.

Sunday lunch by the railway line at Bayerischer Banhof was extremely busy with the majority of tables reserved. We were eating a main course served in a frying pan consisting of chicken , beef and pork with vegtables and a mushroom sauce and also a main course of pork, bacon strips and peppers on a sword shaped skewer. Meat was soft... More

I have been in Leipzig for a business dinner during a congress. The restaurant is very characteristic. Local beers and good food at affordable prices. A must!
