The Hallesches Brauhaus was one of the first places we stopped. The food was excellent-very hearty, and the beer was great. Service wasn't as friendly toward English speakers, so we quickly had to jump into German speaking mode. All in all, a good experience, would definitely go back.

Taken here by family for dinner and the food and atmosphere were great. Festive and comfortable. Good service and waiter spoke English. Can recommend.

My friends and I always like to come here for a beer. The food here was okay but the high light are the beers. I always like their seasoning beer, such as Bock beer, Red beer and so on. If you like to drink normal beer, light and little bit sweet, then try Hallsch. If you like dark beer, then... More

Nice brewery in the city centre. Went there for dinner. The restaurant was very busy, with 2 groups of 10+ arriving, just ahaed of me. Menu was in English, the portion was huge, some spices were not to my taste, but a decent meal. Their Beer is excelent.

Stumble upon this place by coincidence despite is close location to the Market place. You can dine in and out and if weather allows out is the recommended place to be as inside is a bit less inviting. Visited it several times during my stay as I got stuck on their Flammkuschen with a small sallad. Really tasty and price... More

Beer brewed on site, home cooked meals with fresh ingredients, this is a place that I always go to at least once when I am in Halle!

Sort of a hard place to find, off the main street. The food was good and the micro-brew beers are very good, especially the Dunkle. Staff were friendly and service was good, for a German restaurant . Great atmosphere and they also offer tours.

This looked like a great place to eat and drink but our trip was spoiled by ultra slow service. The beer was good but to wait 40 minutes for a Flammkuchen in a half-full restaurant was bit much. The waitress didn't seem to bothered either. Good beer, indifferent service, food was average. Given the choice in Halle, we would likely... More

As a lover of brew pubs I sought out this place and was not disappointed. The dunkel is cloudy and full of malt, quite different from most German beers but definitely distinctive. The brewmaster's pan was tasty and good value with the potatoes cooked in onion gravy which is also different for the norm. The young waitresses were friendly and... More

Not the easiest place to find, but we thought it was worth it. The food was excellent, and beers superb, especially the Dunkle. Staff were friendly, and efficient. Popular with the younger drinkers and had a great atmosphere.
