The Brauhaus offers; a Pils, a Dark and a Wheat. All very good. The dinner meal service was good, quick and the food arrived hot. We had White Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce and Potatoes and Rinderroulande with Red Cabbage and Potatoes. Typical local foods. The Rinderroulande was pre-made and the meat was moist and fell apart with a fork. The... More

Ate three time here, Bratwurst, Fish and Snitzel. Each time the service was good, the food was great and the atmosphere good, both inside and outside. Lunch is busy, shared a table and got to meet new friends.

We enjoyed potato soup midday during our first day in Wittenberg, and had a very memorable group gathering at 4:30 on our second day! Service was prompt and friendly. The food and beer were great! We bought beer mugs to remember this special place!

Bottom line up Front: Great Beer, good lunch food and centrally located. I had lunch with a couple of friends. We had different entrees, various wursts and a schnitzel. All were good and the food that was going to other tables looked fine. The beer, pilsner and wheat were very well crafted and went well with the food.

With a group it is a great fun evening as you need to make your own entertainment. Food a beer are good although service can be a little slow.

Three of us went here for dinner on a recent Saturday night. It was crowded, but we were seated at a large table with another couple which wasn't a problem for either party. We ordered two entrees and a large dinner salad to share among us. Their beer was excellent as were the schnitzel and pork knuckle. The other accompaniments were... More

Several locals recommended the Brauhaus for lunch and after walking down an alley into a lovely courtyard, we had to wait for a table--a good sign. We had the goulash soup, which was rich and delicious, albeit a bit salty (something we experienced a lot in Germany). Others in our group had the schnitzel and wurst, which they enjoyed. The... We chose to eat lunch at this place because it was located just off the main square and we had limited free time from our tour group. We were so glad we made this choice. The courtyard area was beautiful but busy so we chose to eat at the bar and got faster service. The interior was nicely decorated too.... More
