Not being very keen on marzipan I was unsure about eating here. Never mind- the choice of cakes was outstanding and there was something to please all tastes. Lovely traditional tea room and exhibition of marzipan making. Light lunches also available. It is possible to reserve tables.

Beyond the shop or upstairs, you can find the delicious Cafe Niederegger and try some of the cakes, coffee or even the tea that you can buy in the shop. The personal is kind and professional. The atmosphere is perfect to stay some time with a book and enjoy some marzipan.

Really comfortable and cosy. No tables in the cafe in the shop and only a 5 minute wait for one in the cafe opposite. Good coffee and yum cake! Really quick service from friendly staff who spoke English.

If you visit Lübeck and you like marzipan you've got no excuse: you must visit this cafe. It has two floors; first one is a shop where they sell all sorts of incredible marzipan products and the second one is where the cafe itself is. First thing that I noticed were cakes. They have many many cakes for good price,... More

If you like marzipan - this is a must. The shopping baskets are small - but big enough ... or you would over indulge!!

We tried ice cream and coffee there. It looks very good but I think they overprice their products. It is very expensive for what It is. They charged 8.20 for an ice cream and 5.30 for an iced coffee, and the waitress brought the wrong product. I wouldnt go back. For that price you can get better icecream.

What a lovely cafe restaurant. It felt like a real treat to come here. The cakes look amazing - although are not calorie free by any means!!! We had lunch and a cake. The service started well but then was a little slow when we wanted to order something else. The marzipan shop downstairs is fantastic and everything looks lovely.... More

You cannot miss this cafe if you are visiting Lubeck. It is Aly Baba's cave for marzipan lovers with amazing collection. The cakes are delicious and coffee selection great. A must visit.
