Great food in a kind of modern German kitchen. Still the staff is dressed in traditional clothes. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere of the place is great. A place to really experience some German traditions.

Very bad experience there . No English speaking staff . Couldn't get most items on the menu . Changing from big menu to small menu in the middle of the evening unacceptable. Wifi not working . Service poor and slow .Food was very fat and dishes very creamy . Restaurant nicely decorated and nice seating outside .

Lovely décor and takes you back 500 years. The bread and soup were delicious. The main course was fantastic and many side dishes were provided. The flaming... More

This is an unusual place lit with candles and serving beer in glasses that don't have a flat bottom. Great beer on tap, especially the non alcoholic wheat beer that is a blessing for the driver. The staff are helpful, and though the English menu is not as pretty and a bit out of date, they are happy to try... More
