Loved the place even though we didn't eat there per-se.. we had a few glasses of wine and a purple Salmorejo which was delicious. Recommend.

Cordaba is awash with low quality restaurants and you have to get away from the immediate vicinity of the Mezquita to find something reasonable. We were happy with our choice of Garum 2.1 which is fitted out as a traditional tapas bar and not too far from the main old town attractions. The food is quite modern in style, of... More

We tried a number of tapas bars during our three days in Cordoba and this was definitely the best. Its a little off the main tourist trail in the old town, but worth the extra five minutes walk. The restaurant wasnt that busy for a Friday night (although we were probably early by Spanish standards). No reservation needed. Food was... More

Late lunch tapas hit and run visit to Garum 2.1 during a recent day-trip to Cordoba. Quite simply, this was beautifully presented tapas, tasteful and of a standard comparable to the great tapa bars in Spain. We were lucky enough to walk in without a reservation. We ordered about 12 tapas dishes between us, and all of them were sensational... More

After a number of not so good dinners in Spain, eating at Garum 2.1 was a welcome change. The waitress very helpfully suggested 2 x tapas to suit my pescatarian palate: the first consisted of salmon "balls" in a very tasty sauce served with rice, the second comprised delicate slices of eggplant lightly fried and served with coddled egg. Both... More

Went here with some friends for our final meal in Cordoba. What a great choice. Choice was great, lots of food, and service was great. Had the steak, and it was lovely. Cut up in strips and severed with potatoes, it melted in your mouth. Would highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.

I usually have problems getting a good range of tapas as a pescatarian, but was spoilt for choice at Garum 2.1! The helpful friendly waitress recommended several specials, all were beautifully presented and delicious. My husband relished trying the local beers and meat based tapas, the oxtail in dipping chocolateand the deserts were sublime, he ended up eating two as... More

We had a wonderful meal at Garum. All the tapas were excellent and made with the freshest ingredient. Service was also very good and prices were really fair for this type of meal. Ox tail, fish and pork were all really delicious. Even my son hamburger was made with top quality meat and was really tasty.

We enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Our meals were exceptional, the service was impeccable, and the surroundings were very pleasant. We felt the total bill of 32 euros with wine made it very affordable for such a nice experience. Highly recommend the Oxtail Stew. Appears to be a locals spot for families on Sunday, but tourists are welcome (just expect... More

Recommended by a local we struck up a conversation with during the day. We went in with high expectations and were not disappointed. Well appointed restaurant that has an upstairs floor as well. Zineb, our English (and French) speaking waitress was able to help us navigate the menu and suggest items for our palate. Stand out dishes were the smoked... More
