It was obvious how popular La Taberna is with locals as we walked by a couple of times. We decided to go right when they opened one night for dinner at 8pm. We had good food and friendly, efficient service at a reasonable price. We would definitely go back if we're in Cordoba again.

We passed this place several times despite it being packed at both lunch and dinner. What an idiot ,its busy for a reason with no tourists. Don't let this sway you but we had revuelto de gulas y gambas and volcan de patatas this first dish I ordered twice it was that good. We've had a lot of good dishes... More

This is part of a chain that offers ok food at reasonable prices , we came for lunch and had a chicken burger that was different and a bull burger that was very strong , there were quite a few people outside but more a coffee , beer , snack place than a dining experience .

We arrived very early (for Spanish standards) for dinner at this place, around 7:30 PM. The waiter was very nice and told us that we could order colds starters (tapas) at this time, but anything hot would have to wait until 8:30 PM when the kitchen would be open once again. We have ordered some jamon with cheese plate while... More

More

Very cold refreshing beer, fresh salty prawns, a good pate with framboise marmalade, cheesecake topped with grapes and a complimentary Pedro Ximenez... Less than 25 euros for 2 people!!! It's packed with people, noisy and buzzing... with crowds flowing in and out all the time. No, it's certainly not a michelin-starred food paradise, nor you will get the best tapas... More

The style of this "restaurant/pub" is very nice. Price are in the average and foods are quite tasty. The only dark side is the language, they do not speak at all English. I would go back, I suggest to eat tun fish and chees, very nice.
