We keep calling in here on our way out of an evening, as it is near our hotel and gets the last of the April daily sun. Gin and Tonic is big and very strong! I'd say there is about 5 British measures to one drink. It's a shame we didn't adopt this European directive in the UK before Brexit!

Visited this lovely restaurant next to La Fragata, and we were not disappointed. Waiters and the chefs are all young but excellent, both service and food. The Paella was delicious and our friends meals were also excellent. Good choice of wines and beers and also very reasonable. Not to mention amazing sea view. Thanks and we will be back!!

We ate here twice during our stay, chosing pasta dishes and meat courses, all very nicely cooked and prepared. The views of the seafront are outstanding and it's great watching the world go by whilst eating good food. Many thanks for two nice meals.

Had a stroll down the promenade today and called into La fragata which apparently is the same owners as La tombola next door. Had the best jug of sangria we've ever had and the service and attentiveness of the staff was superb. Decided to eat there in the evening. OMG everything was so good. They were quite busy but plenty... More

A gentle stroll down the lovely prom from our hotel-Sol House Aloha. We discovered this absolute gem. On arrival the friendly waiters (pirate theme?!!) greeted us like royalty. The food was delicious, well priced and the service really efficient. They immediately warmed to my young daughter too. Just fab-the best place we visited on a 5 night holiday to the... More

This restaurant is perfectly located on the promenade overlooking the sea and for many years has been run by a mum and dad and daughters which was of a concistently high standard and good value for money with excellent professional and friendly service. On arrival this year we found that the parents have retired and the adjacent restaurant La Fragata... More

We have been eating at Tombola for many years but never at La Fragata next door, so i was slightly nervous to read that they were now one. There was absolutely no need to have worried !! We sat in the Tombola half of the restaurant (it would have been disloyal not to ) but outside on the promenade. The... More

Waiters extremely attentive. Had Gambas pil pil and bream. The fish wasn't oily as with some of the fish restaurants in this area. Lovely experience. Extensive menu. Will return.

Ordered breakfast choice @5.80 euro which list eggs bacon and fried potatoes The breakfast showed up with a large piece of bread covered with the bacon and eggs and potatoes . We ate the breakfast which was delicious. When we got the bill they charged an extra 1.35 euros each for the bread. We could have argued because the breakfast... More

We took our latest visitors here to sample the Sopa de Mariscos, only to find that La Tombola has been subsumed into La Fragata, the restaurant next door. The charming and efficient waiter told us that the previous owners had decided to retire. The menu seemed identical to the one we knew, but had simply been re-printed. My husband and... More
