A small restaurant down a small alley. It is really worth a visit, it's a couple of streets from Orange Square. Great Tapas and typical friendly authentic Spanish hospitality. Find it and enjoy!

Our group of four ignorent turists with a toddler asked for a tapas selection we'd enjoy, and they picked a great lunch selection for us! Great taste and freshness with decent total cost. Well done!

This tapas bar tucked away in the old town of Marbella has been here for many years. The food is great and the ambience is wonderful. Very friendly staff too

We have been visiting this wonderful tapas bar since 1998. We have never had a disappointing experience, and it a must for travellers to Marbella old town. We always enjoy a wide variety of small dishes when we visit washed down with very reasonably priced wine. The rosada cooked in light batter is particularly good. The bar is unpretentious and... This was a great find. Authentic, local eatery with superb tapas. We ate like savages and so cheap. Definitely going back for more. Very pleasant and quick service. This place is not to be missed.

We visited this lovely traditional tapas bar in the old town back in April whilst staying in Marbella, the first part of our holiday was in Cabopino just down the coast and the lady who we rented our apartment from recommended the place we had to wait till the last night of our holiday as it had been closed before... If I am honest I am not a lover of Tapas, but I love this bar! I have recently visited El Estrecho for the third time whilst on holiday with my family in Marbella. We have been visiting every year since 2013 and it is definitely a firm favourite with us all! The fish bites and croquets are just delicious!... More

El Estrecho is a well-known tapas bar hidden away down one of the alleyways in the old town. It's well worth tracking down, as it has an authentic ambience and serves some of the best tapas in town - including some lesser known dishes such as chickpeas & spinach or fish & beans. Plus the waiters speak pretty good English!
