Exceptional tapas restaurant, amazing Spanish cuisine. After I was living two years at Costa del Sol, I would say probably they made the best croquettes I ever had.

This is a great Spanish bar with fantastic atmosphere. Food is good but better for drinking and dancing on the weekend, upstairs to funky 60s beats till the small hours.

All types of dishes, the service is a little slow but great interior and good selection of food ^ they have live music sometimes and also roof terraces which are lovely to sit and relax with a drink on

Full of locals which is always a good sign. Old style bar/restaurant. Had a couple of glasses of wine (€1.90) at the counter and listened to the chatter around us. Will be going back to try the food. Menu looks good for bar food or dinner. Staff very friendly and generally a nice buzz about the place.

...recalls an old bar, wine good, food average...pitty the sitting area for winter was too cold and had to sit inside

We visited La Polaca for tapas as the owner contributes to a food report on a national Spanish radio station. Loved the decor, particularly the small antique motorbike by the front door and the Monza coin game on the wall, however the tapas was a disappointment. The patatas ali oli (garlic potatoes) used frozen potatoes and sauce that I'm sure... More

This bar was very close to our apartment and it caters mainly for the locals. They did have a menu in English from which I enjoyed some tapas and toasties. A good local for drinks and athmosphere.

I was here twice. The food was poor, especially the famous sandwiches. Nice staff though, and lots of friendly locals (few tourists), and a good place for a drink. Wouldn't come back for the food though.
