Beautiful decor and old-school Arabic music. This restaurant has the feel of a more upscale dining experience without the upscale price. All our food had a homemade, cooked-from-scratch feel to it. I ordered the lamb tagine with plums and almonds, which was complex and delicious. My husband ordered the lamb tagine with vegetables, and while he liked it fine, it... More

Loved the food and the decoration! Location in the heart of Granada, close to Alhambra and all the shops and the Albacin, thank you!

We order Tajine or Tagine the authentic Arabic beef stew cooked with dried fruit like dates, appricot, plum and spice to give the unique taste served with rice and mint tea. We proud to have this kind of halal food when visit this vacation.

A cosy restaurant with the local specialities like bull's tail. We had the more standard food, but others enjoyed the tail. The tanjin was very good and the service friendly.

Good food (and lovely lemonade), lovely setting, friendly&attentative service. We weren't able to finish all food, but fortunately they provided a container and we finished off the couscous the next day.

We arrived in Granada to find our online reservation at another restaurant was not valid-that restaurant was closed. We found a great table here for a prix fixe dinner. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had hummus, soup or doner, lamb tagine and couscous chicken. There was a yogurty dessert and sweet mint tea. There was entertainment with a... More

The Moroccan food here is simply wonderful. Everything is genuine and prepared with care. Our host was cordial, attentive and very helpful. We had Lamb Tajin with prunes and almonds and a Chicken Pastilla. The appetizers were delicious. This is a wonderful place in which to eat located in a the Albayzin old city of Granada. We ate here twice,... More

We were having a trip to this lovely city and while walking around the old town decided to eat some North African food. We ordered a tagine some kofta and a chicken kabob all were well cooked but lacked a bit in the seasoning. Maybe just me being unused to this style of cooking but a nice experience anyway

After maxing out on tapas we craved something different and the Restaurant Sultan in Granada was a pleasant change. We had 2 tanjines and it was delicious and plenty for 2 people. Service and the atmosphere were very good.
