A friend and I came late on a Thursday night, and it was packed. Always a good sign. We were acknowledged and seated within 10 minutes, even though we were quoted 20-30 minutes. Sat down, immediately ordered two rosés, they came with the menu! We...More

We were in the "this place" today to eat tapas. We were received without any formality by the attendant. We tried to choose the tapas of our choice, but the attendant forced us to choose a combo dish of greater value. This happened to a...More

We stopped by this place for dinner after checking out the neighbouring restaurants. We had seats at the bar, just like the locals. The food was great, and the service excellent. Our fellow diner on the next stool was a local who eats here regularly....More

We were a large group (13 people) and the restaurant was very accommodating for our size. Our first waiter was not overly friendly, but after that, the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My seven year old ate more than anyone at...More

There are two Castaneda establishments next door to one another. If you want good food and the tapas experience go to the bar, not the restaurant. If you need to sit, go elsewhere for better food/value.

Avoid! I was invited by some friends, and didn't have a choice... The moment there is a waiter asking everyone that goes by the restaurant to come in, is a red flag, food was really bad. Filet was hard as a rock, Jabugo came straight...More

No you can't just show up early to get a table because there's not many. But the real experience is to eat at the Barra not at the tables!!
