Francisco provided a truly unique and intimate experience at La Oliva. The many small courses were prepared and paced with a lot of care. It was exciting to learn from Francisco about Spanish cuisine throughout the few hours, since he introduced each course and explained...More

I share the opinions of many other posters regarding the quality of the food (simple, small portions and not “gourmet”) and the value of the experience. This is a lovely man who enjoys entertaining, teaching about granadian cuisine and ingredients and making everyone happy. When...More

The place is very small so you'll need a reservation but the experience is worthwhile. 13/14 tastings very simple yet excellent. A different wine matches a group of courses giving an interesting taste of Spanish prime ingredients and local products. It's definitely not a shop,...More

We cannot fully express how special this meal was. Francisco, our chef-host-local food guide is exceptionally warm, funny, intelligent, and clearly a skilled gourmand. He masterfully combined Spanish olive oils, foods and wines in simple, perfectly portioned courses that seemed endless, but never too much....More

I feel lucky that I was able to secure a reservation at this true local gem. Francisco makes you feel as if you are visiting a friend’s house for a local dinner party. It is all about the food and ingredients, not a fancy kitchen....More

Strongly recommend the place for the tasting menu! We tasted more than 15 different types of regional tapas ans little dishes. Further some 5 wines! Chef who owns the place was very nice and knowledgable about the food.

If you can, plan to dine at this little gem. Sure, the meal is a demonstration of products available for purchase, but what an extraordinary way to sample things -- and what a lovely meal! I'll never forget it.

For the restaurant, because the meal has many courses, it lasts for a few hours. For this reason Francisco tells guests what time they need to arrive. I think we were asked to arrive at about 7pm
