Liked it so much that went there two nights in a row. The restaurant is fine, with all the usual dishes. The rabo de toro was excellent, so was the cold soup. But the real fun is at the bar, which seems popular with locals. You get a free tapa with every drink you order, so you can have loads... More

We stumbled open this cute little taverna close to the Catedral on a quiet street. Received a friendly welcome and stayed for cañas & Tinto veranos. The tapas being served around us was mainly Albondigas de carne, so we ordered a plate and also some Jamon croquets....we were not disappointed, Delicious and a must eat when visiting this place. A... More

We went to this restaurant for dinner recently and ordered the seafood paella. It was fine but a bit underwhelming. We certainly expected a lot more, based on the tripadvisor reviews. The portion was generous but the food was extremely salty and nothing special. The cost was €12 per person (plus tax) for the paella, which was reasonable, but I probably... More

We were attracted to this restaurant due to its nice comfortable looking bar along a small alley in the old section of town. We went inside for a drink and decide to have lunch because the fixed price lunch sounded so good. It was a 3 course lunch consisting of gazpacho, beef tenderloin medallions with potatoes, and a dessert for... More

Took advice from other reviewers and tried this typical old Spanish restaurant. Don't be put off by the darkish narrow bar area as you enter as you are seated in a lovely, slightly old fashion, room at the back. We all had the menu of the day and it was superb. All fresh ingredients were used for the dishes and... More

Since this restaurant is near the Translation School of the University of Granada, my research group and I decided to have lunch there after our meeting. We wanted to try a new place where we had never been before. I actually had to convince everyone to go to the tavern since it is sandwiched between two other restaurants, which look... More

After visiting the Capilla Real in Granada we were at a loose end. We weren't impressed by the Cathedral but we accidentally buzzed in during a service in the neighbouring parroquia (parish church) - that Church was actually quite pretty and understated. However as they were in service we deferred to the service and made a quiet retreat. After a... More

We decided on this restaurant because the menu looked so good. The salmorejo, a cold tomato soup, was outstanding, as was the melon soup. Solomillo of beef was juicy and flavorful. My husband's dish was very good was well--something with eggs and potatoes. Dessert was a homemade almond and caramel icecream. Everything was good, including service. Atmosphere was nothing special,... More

We go to Granada frequently to see my son in School there and had this place recommended by our hotel concierge. Although it's location couldn't be ANY more touristy than literally at the bottom of the main Cathedral's tower; you'll quickly see it's packed with locals sampling the menu via the front tapa bar. All kinds of meat & fish... More
