This is a gastrobar typical in old towns in andalucia. The food is just that. Old style. the ambient is friendly and an example of the city life

The rest of the menu is ridiculously overpriced and you certainly cannot take a family with children here. The waitstaff is attentive to a fault: "Another tapa? Another drink?" You're constantly aware that these folks need your money. The plaza is lovely, but the experience was stressful, rather than relaxing. We are not going back.

This restaurant offers a somewhat limited menu but whatever you order will be delicious. Their specialty are the "caracoles" (snails), very small and cooked in a great sauce (do not even bother asking for the recipe !!!). We had the snails, Iberico ham, grilled cuttlefish and octopus "a la gallega" (Galician style). They offered us a local red wine that... More

Great place for tapas and drinks. You get a free one with every drink, and they are not small! The food is also excellent.

Last month my boyfriend and I visited Granada and went to try the snails for the first time. Very typical and very tasty food.

Typical spanish sandwiches, big portion super cheap. One of The oldest bar in Granada, that's why only local People are there. You can breathe the real spanish lunch tradition. I tried chorizo, perrito (hot dog with sausage not wurstel) and San francisco with cheese-queso and bacon. Delicious! RECOMMENDED

We had been hiking the neighborhoods above Plaza Aliatar for some hours and were ready for a place to sit and a cold beer. The plaza ambience of this bar was appealing so we sat down. After our beers were promptly delivered, we noticed several locals were eating snails and then we noticed the bar is named Los Caracoles. We... More

Hard enough to find this place in the warren of the Albacian, but the hot walk up the hill was rewarded with a cold beer and delicious tapas of snails. The second beer came with 4 freshly cooked jumbo prawns and the final with a generous ham salad. Lovely terrace and friendly service.

We were looking for a nice place to eat and ended up in this lovely situated terras. We ordered a couple of drinks and some food. The service was really friendly as she pointed out we didn't have to order the snails as they come free with the drinks. To add to the ambiance we were entertained by street musicians... More
