We did the tasting menu and were not disappointed. Presentation was beautiful; each dish arrived on its own specially shaped ceramic dish. The sausage tapas arrived on a little clothes hanger with tiny clothes pegs. A sangria at the end of the dinner arrived in a test tube. We had a delicate swordfish carpaccio followed by foie which arrived dressed... More

This place was exquisite. Tapas bar separated from the restaurant. We tried 5-6 tapas and they were all amazing. They were relatively small but it was also not expensive so we were definitely stuffed by the end. The plates in which the tapas were served were also quite peculiar and with a particular charm. Good service and great atmosphere. Already... More

The meatballs and crocquets were good and the vieiras (scallops 5.75€) exquisite, although the portions were relatively small.

Az-Zait was on my list for a recent weekend trip to Seville for my wedding anniversary, and we passed by for lunch but opted for dinner the next night as it looked a little more "formal" than a simple tapas bar. It was, without a doubt, the best meal we ate in Seville and one of the best meals I... More

We found this place by accident and it was a very happy accident indeed. We went for early lunch and were the first customers of the day. The very pleasant waiter turned out to be Scottish, I only realised this after a few feeble attempts to speak Spanish with him. We ordered from the tapas menu. Everything we got was... More

Az Zait is a little more upmarket than most tapas restaurants. Frescos on the ceiling, leather chairs and hushed tones. Perfect for a romantic meal. We went on All Saints Day so had no problem getting a table at 9.30. The waiter told us that he expected the whole first week of November to be quiet, so it's a good... More

Went in for tapas as Enslava was closed. The restaurant was open early by Spanish standards so we were able to lunch at 12:30/1. We only sampled four tapas, conchillios (suckling pig), patatas bravas (crispy fried potatoes), albondigas (meatballs) and a concoction of apples and breadcrumbs. The last one was disappointing but the other three were excellent. Albondigas, a staple... More

This restaurant serves mediterranean fair with a gastronomique flair. The tasting menu that we enjoyed was well prepared and served on extraordinary dishes. 4 courses. The Bacalao was great as was the beef. I recommend this restaurant for foodies.

My son and I visited Seville for the first time and stayed just one night. I spent a fair bit of time researching which restaurant to visit and, based on reviews in Trip Advisor, decided on Az Zait. Given we were only in town for one night, it was important to get the choice right. The service was a little... More
