Somehow Sevilla is moving now to a fashion model regarding gastronomy. Places like Ovejas negras, La Mamarracha, or this one, fit on this definition. With a nice offer of dishes and an OK price (not cheap at all) this restaurant gives you the possibility to go into this fashion and move out from the normal tapas you can have in... More

One of the best restaurants I have been to in Seville. A very extensive menu, hard to choose from, but one can take small portions of many of the dishes to sample. We had many excellent dishes, starting with some incredibly good pata negra ham, the bacalao salad with orange and asparagus and the baby artichokes. Followed by the small... More

It's a nice place, in a new area of restaurants. Very good food, fish, meat and vegetables. Very good service and good rates for the quality. The place is really really nice.

We walked back from Santa Justa station, meandering through some of the more local streets and came across this plaza. It seemed to be a hub for locals, sitting, drinking and chatting in the sun. We stopped for a drink and joined the throng. A very reasonable bar in a very Local spot, worth a stop for a drink, if... More

Making the booking by (and thank) to my front in the hotel (is important!), we arrive to Manolo at 9 in the noon. We are the first. Tasting different type of food (fish and meat) we fount the fish very good and fresh and the meat (was fillet) very tasty and a little firm for out type of food. Very... More

We had a voucher we wanted to expend at Bar Manolo León, so we tried to make a reservation. Impossible! They told us it was not valid. After calling the voucher's company (and confirming that we were right), we tried to contact Bar Manolo León again and they did not even answer. According to other reviews we expected something quite... More

Sitting at the plaza Alfalfa, having a tapas and a tinto de verano. Nothing else more. They serve a lot of different tapas. Jamon is a bit expensive.

On our trip to Seville I came across this very popular lively hangout with locals, which let me knew I was in the right place as we came in. Located in a cozy beamed ceiling Andalusian setting, beautifully decorated, within a walking distance of Plaza de Espana. There is also a private dining room. I found a warm welcome and... More

This place had a great promo from the Lonely Planet but it was one of the worst eating experiences we had in Spain. All of the food was accompanied with fritas (ie potato chips - but soggy) and was generally pretty poor. We could not leave fast enough are were sad to have wasted one of our limited eating opportunities... More

After a relaxing meander through nearby Parque de Maria Luisa, a paradise-like half-mile of palms, orange trees, flower beds, ponds and pavilions, Sevilles Bar Manolo Leon offers a fine Spanish meal in a charming setting. Sister restaurant to the regal Casa Manolo Leon, at the front is a large, animated bar popular after office hours with local professionals. Work your way through the crowd, however, and you might be pleasantly surprised to discover foodies from further afield gathered in Bar Manolo Leons cosy main restaurant, rather gracefully decorated with gilded mirrors, and Andalucian paintings, pottery and sculptures. An innovative daily menu promises fresh salads, meats, fish and Iberian specialties, best enjoyed with hunks of Bar Manolo Leons wonderful homemade bread.
