El Rinconcillo was our first Tapas bar for our honeymoon. We dropped off our bags at the hotel and wandered over during the lunch rush. It's hard to argue with a bar that opened in 1670. You have to go if you're in Seville, but...More

My wife and I...and the 3 ladies sitting at the next table...had a very disturbing experience at this very cold (temperature) and mediocre (C+ food) place. Most importantly, the waiters were very aggressive and rude, which I assume is because they have a local clientele...More

We popped in for a drink and tapas after a long day on our feet. The atmosphere and the bar itself are just what one would expect-old Wood, aged Jamison hanging up and aged barmen serving. Lots of locals and it’s cheap but the food...More

The oldest tapas bar in Spain - this place has a wonderful relaxed, historic vibe. We stood at a barrel / table and had some simple tapas and a glass of red wine. Nothing pretentious about it, and still very much a place for locals...More

Description
Located on the Calle Gerona, El Rinconcillo has been serving up Spanish cuisine in Seville since 1760. This historic restaurant boasts a rustic-chic dining room that is dressed up in cosmopolitan clothes. With understated whitewashed brick walls, beamed ceilings, chandeliers and fresh flower arrangements, El Rinconcillo attracts everybody from local celebrities to families who come to enjoy traditional tapas and Sunday meals, and the mosaic-tiled bar with wine barrel tables is perfect for pre-dinner drinks and mid-afternoon glasses of wine. The menu is an eclectic collection of tapas dishes, stews, seafood, meat and sweet flans for dessert, and you couldnt find a more quintessentially Spanish eatery in Seville if you tried.
