I am embarrassed that we ate as long as we viewed. Four of us went over from San Sebastien where we had an apartment. So the hour's drive and the visit to the museum were worth it. But we had also booked a table for...More

Took my husband for his birthday lunch and it was exquisite! we chose the 9 course which was plenty for 2 people. It's about 110 euros each and worth every penny. We spent about 2.5 hours or more dining and enjoying. Even the chairs and...More

We didn't have enough time to enjoy all of the treasures the museum holds. The use of space is sophisticated and engaging. A combination of permanent and temporary holdings will leave you feeling you have entered into an art lovers haven.

I don't go to many super fancy restaurants and I did wander if we'd get value for money because it's not cheap. We had the 9 product taster menu. Mind blown. Staff were amazing, food was another level

Currently No. 56 in the world, Nerua definitely deserves its place among the best in the world. We came for lunch before hitting the museum, and had a memorable lunch. We did the tasting menu with wine pairings and it was truly special. One of...More

Hard to review. The food is good, as to be expected but not really excellent. The staff is friendly and professional. The sommelier is excellent and serves great wines. Perhaps I expected too much but I thought some of the dishes tasted quite bland. The overall...More

No specific dress code - I emailed to ask them. They do prefer smart casual over ripped jeans and the like. I wore a smart shirt with a thin jacket and trousers rather than jeans. The ladies will always want to dress up... More

Description
Nerua takes its name from the Nervión River, the backbone of Bilbao, which in ancient Latin was called Nerva. We combine innovation with our roots, our surroundings. It is a space designed for a gastronomic and cultural experience.

Nature sets the pace of our kitchen, we adapt to each season without censorship to do the cuisine that we feel. A local cuisine that begins at the vegetable gardens, in the sea, and in the farms.

Our experience is the best technique-we cook with freedom to create pleasure and enjoyment. Faithful to our principles, we defend our environment and the producers who make our goal possible: to be at the cutting edge and to innovate without losing the flavor of our roots.

"Muina"-Basque for core, heart, or essence-is the soul of our kitchen.
