We went to this restaurant last night based on the Michelin recommendation. We ordered the tasting menu with the matching wines. We felt as though the courses were rushed as we usually didn't finish our wine from the previous course before being presented with a new wine and new course. The first was crab salad which wasn't to our taste... More

Great atmosphere and the staff are brilliant. We had the al a carte menu, which was fab. The tasting menu did look great though. The blood sausage to start was really great - don't be put off by the name!! It was lovely. I then had hake for my main - best fish dish ever! Please try here.

Dined a few times for pinxtos at lunch and found it very good. Also popped in for a few drinks in the evening and found them to be very pleasant.

If you want a classy sit down meal at a very reasonable price then find this place. Their tasting menu is very good & at 46 euros is very good value. Nicely set out & yes, peaceful! Service is very good & very tolerant of visitors who can't speak the language. Wine list is good with lots of choice at... More

We loved our meal at Bodegon Alejandro. We were driving in from Bilbao and ran late, but we called and they graciously held our table. Our lunch was really delicious. If you want the tasting menu, everyone at the table must take it. So we just ordered off the menu. Every course was very good. We loved the "surprise" at... More

We read theta reviews and were walking by, made reservation. the three of had the tasting menu for 42 E, a real deal. we added the wine for 17.5 E, also a deal. Spider crab app was a bit unusual, egg and Swiss cheese app was amazing. The grilled hake and grilled steak were superb, hot and perfectly cooked. A... More

My wife and I are on a two week trip to Spain and Portugal and this was the first dinner we had since arriving in Spain. I have to say it couldn't have been better. We were seated promptly when we arrived a bit early for our 8:30 reservation. At that time there was only one other table occupied but... More

The two of us had a nice evening here. We shared a white asparagus starter, she had the pea special and I had the baby lamb. They were all very tasty. We had a bottle of red from the Rioja region, which was also quite good. We both agreed that if we returned to San Sebastián we would come to... More

Tasting menu and wine pairing at a restaurant of this quality would cost double anywhere else....excellent value for money. Lovely flavours combinations and good conversation regarding the wines served... I felt the atmosphere was lacking a little something in the area we were sat in and the seating not very comfortable as we were there a few hours in total... More

We went for the tasting menu, what a good choice! The slow cooked egg was beautiful, the steak perfect! One of the best meals I had in San Sebastián! Well done guys! Service was great, from start to finish!
