I have reviewed this restaurant before, as we visited it many times in the past. This time we went straight to it at our first night in town and we were extremely disappointed by the food. The menu has changed, as there is a new chef. No more foie, chewy calamares, and disappointing brochettas. The service was still very friendly... More

Stopped here because the weather was bad and had some wine and pinxtos. Glad we dos because we ended up having a nice chat with the bar tender and sampled an array of food and wines. Nice experience and would definitely return. Recommend the calamari to order! The half size will not be enough!

At our stay in San Sebastian we did not have breakfast included in our hotel. We found this place and were happy we had not. Really relaxed atmosphere with good service and nice food. Mini salads if you are not that hungry, classic omelettes if you want something different from a tortilla.

Average is a bit harsh because this place can be very good. These bars have huge turnovers of customers and also of staff during the day. A good minute and you'll be happy here, another few minutes and there's no service, no food. No food can be a good thing. If it's not fresh and good, they don't serve it.... More

This place is fantastic. Not too much out door seating but if you are able to get an outdoor table its great because the street is closed off from cars. Really enjoyed this place so much we came back the next day as well -Loved loved their lamb burger and fries -The squid with jam also fantastic -Beef and mushrooms... More

On our first night here the Old Town was heaving with celebrating rowers so we had to look in the centre for somewhere to dine. We were lucky enough to find this great restaurant. Great Pintxos. English menu available, friendly helpful staff with limited English but we had no problems. You can either dine from the bar selection or order... More

We ate here tonight. 6 of us arrived at 8:30 and only had to wait 5 mins for a table. The seafood was really excellent. Patatas bravas were a little soggy. Service was very good, although they spoke almost no English. I would return to eat here again.

All the pinchos were good and the service was fine, but there was one dish that stood out. A scallop appetizer with a citrus sauce that somehow included a sorbet. It was so good we ordered a second round for dessert!

We went here most days, the food is excellent and always served beautifully, I asked for the cheese on toast, well it was fantastic, I wish I had taken a photo, and the little teapots they serve their tea in is charming, I even bought one home. The bar staff are excellent and very friendly and so helpful.

This seems to be a more local bar and restaurant than most others we stumbled across in San Sebastian. The food is very creatively arranged and the taste is very good. Actually rather createive, which we did nto expect looking at this place to begin with. Portions are very good, especially looking at the price, the quality and the city... More
