We visited early on a Saturday evening so it was very quiet. Great music playing and the lady who served us was very pleasant. However the music was turned off and replaced with Britains Got Talent on one tv and some other channel on another tv and the sound of two different tv channels playing loudly was not a good... After watching the Football the previous night we knew there would be Motown and the singer who's name is Milo didn't disappoint us. It didn't matter what he sung it still sounded great.

We have been visitors to the Anchor bar a few times over the last couple of years and we just keep going back, its a great atmosphere with friendly staff who always make us welcome every time we turn up. My Husband likes all the sport on the TV's and i get to sit by the sea watching the world... More

We have been coming to the Anchor for 10 years. Keith and Lorraine run a fabulous warm and friendly bar. The staff are very professional and friendly, and will always do their best to help the customers. Being a sports bar they show all the big sporting events, and the atmosphere is fun and lively. I have visited this island many times over the years and after trying out many bars this has to be the best on the island! if you want cold food and bad service then go there not!!! the food is cold and staff not helpful i have a stomach disorder and cant eat adult meals when asked for kids meal i was frowned apon but after much huffing and puffing agreed but when the meal arrived the stuff was cold and horrible we would not... Just arrived home from an amazing 2 weeks holiday in Lanzarote. Our first evening we stopped off at The Anchor for a drink to decide where we would eat that night. After seeing the standard of food coming from the kitchen we decided to stay put and we were not disappointed.The staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful.... More
