We dined here twice on our last holiday - it a a fixture in all our Lanzarote holidays. It is a Cesar Manrique creation and still looks good after 30 years or so!!! The menu has changed recently to reflect modern tastes and the prices have gone up a little. It is still first class dining with a stunning panoramic... More

This is the restaurant at the castle that is home to the international museum of contemporary art. It's a great place for lunch or dinner with a view across the port. The restaurant is yet another César Manrique triumph: a mirador with artistic décor inside and out. We liked the sculpture of four horses in the sea. We had lunch... More

This is set in an old building, built down to the sea level. As you approach you see a castle type turret and draw bridge. The restaurant overlooks one of the marina's. There are windows all around so great views. In the marina there are horse sculptures with sculptured men on their back. The food was glorious and not too... More

After about 30 minute slightly uphill walk from town we came to the Castle. A cobbled path to the left leads down the cliff to this lovely restaurant. It has a whole wall of large windows looking out to sea. Outside, somehow, they have managed to create a volcanic garden down the cliff. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and all the... More

Great location with view overlook moored cruise liners and Arrecife, sailing craft passing by going to the new marina. Previously been in the afternoon for a coffee or beer, this time went for lunch. Very nice menu, went for the 6 course taster to try a good selection of the food on offer, this turned out to be an excellent... More

We'd popped into Ikea on the outskirts of Arrecife. (Get the 03 bus stops right outside) Just cross the road, turn down by the Disa service station and the road leads you straight to the art museum and restaurant designed by Caesar Manrique and located in the castle. We went earlier in the year for an exhibition but this time... More

This restaurant re-designed by Cesar Manrique is a great place. Terrific outlook and ambiance. The staff are attentive without hovering. The food is Canarian and of a high standard. Had the goat which was excellent. Easy parking but the road system in Arricefe has been reorganised in a confusing way so best approached on the ring road and from the... More

The location and the restaurant is just beautiful. But the foods are just the biggest disappointment of all time. Just a drink in the afternoon there will be good. Skip the meal people!

Dear visitor, Thank you very much for your comment, the opinion of our customers helps us to improve day by day. César Manrique built this space at Castillo de San José thinking on a place to relax contemplating the horizon; a place where the visitor could feel as if he was eating in a cruise at the open sea. César... More

Something I love from Lanzarote food is quality, simplicity and taste. Starters are great here; but main dishes are unnecessary sophisticated. The filling of dried fruits of the lamb was not appropriate. We could fill it in the stomach for hours...
