So many places to eat but we managed to choose the wrong one! Decent enough choice on the menu, starters really expensive. I got the paella which was sloppy & runny, couldn't eat it. Hubby wasn't too impressed with his either. The best bit was leaving!

Our first visit to Compostelana was very nice. Food was lovely, price reasonable and the service good. We therefor decided to return and sadly were let down. My husband ordered Rissotto for his main dish and when it arrived it was a more like rice pudding. It was gritty and stodgy. On the plus side the waiter informed the manager... More

By far the very worst dining experience I have ever had. The staff are disgustingly rude, I ordered the fagotini (a cheese and pear filled pasta dish in a four cheese sauce) it arrived after a very long wait and was extremely bland, after eating maybe a third of it I discovered a think and curly black hair protruding from... As this restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel , we decided to visit for some tapas . The staff were polite . We ordered two different tapas . What we got was two of the same tapas . we were unimpressed with the tapas .

Convinced by the "customer tout" outside the restaurant, we had two fixed price menu, with ominous outcomes: pasta "gorgonzola and pears" drowned in a tasteless liquid sauce with some pear piece, grilled vegetables with 70% of peppers (note we had requested "no pepper"), roast beef calf we left half on the plate, inedible because of how hard and innervated it... This restaurant is very close to the Lido and is well worth a visit. My wife had veal and I had the seafood Pizza. The pizza was great and arrived without any delays and there was real seafood on the top of it. The drinks and food are priced well. The toilets (which are a good measure of overall cleanliness)... Stopped here for a dinner with my boyfriend. Ordered a paella moresco for 2 and a bottle of white wine for £29.00 roughly. We ordered some garlic bread while we were waiting. Food was delicious. We really enjoyed the service and the freshness of the taste and the atmosphere. Only dark spot is that the bill was slightly higher then... More
