This is another nice tapas bar/restaurant that has been around for many years. I went with my wife and sister in law for some tapas and a coffee. The place looks very nice inside (it has beeen renovated since last time I visited years ago) and the food we had (rabas and pinchos de tortilla) was very good. Looking forward... More

Having passed this Bodega several times and observing the locals queuing for a table we decided to have our Sunday lunch there. We hose menu del did and this consisted of Marmita (a tuna ad potato soup, Chuletillas de Cordero (lamb chops) and chocolate cake. You also got a drink with it, I asked for wine and was given a... This is one of our sure bets. The place is very pleasant (though noisy). Delicious traditional Spanish ingredients with a touch of international cuisine (their Asian-style woks are a must!). Overall great tastes at a fair price in a nice atmosphere.

It´s not a very big place and it gets crowded soon but the nice thing is that anything that I´ve tried of their menu has an awesome presentation and taste. Highly recommended to bless your stomach with any of the menu offers because of the very good quality of the food. The Tudanca hamburger is awesome and any Huevos Rotos... More

A lively, vibrant neighbourhood bar/restaurant which offered excellent food (including simply best squid I have eaten anywhere in the world!), decent wines, friendly and efficient service all at a sensible price. The crowd the night we were there was generally of a more mature age group, rather than the bright young things to be found in many of the eateries... More

Nice place. Visited early evening during the week. Probably not the best time. Seems to be a popular place wi the locals. Nice wine and tapas. Specials on Sunday 20.00 - 23.00: tapas and drink - 1.50€. Cannae beat that!!

La Montaña was the very first restaurant I ever attended in this city, and since, I've been back countless times, especially now that I live just a couple of blocks away. Everytime I don't feel like cooking and I want to have some food like my grandmother or my mother used to prepare, I just go there; there is a... More

Some negative reviews for this place, which surprises me....it is quite simply one of the best, authentic tapas bars i've been to. Here you will get some of the finest anchovies in the world, some of the best tomato bread i have ever tasted and some of the finest wine. Very good selection, hams differ from place to place, these... More

Nice pleasant but forgettable. The place looks appalling but the style just up the road is a better option.
