We were most pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here (though very much in a highly touristed area off of the Cathedral square). The atmosphere is nice, not over-the-top, with excellent, friendly service.

We had a very nice dinner here one evening. The service was very good and the atmosphere is very nice. We were seated on the main floor and even though it was a Saturday night, the dining room did not fill up. The food was very good. We had been snacking all day, so we did not do the tasting... More

Went to this place on Thursday evening. No problem getting in, we were the only ones there for most of the evening. Such a shame as it was good food. Would recommend for a visit as staff were nice and wine was superb.

Checked out Trip Advisor first, and we agree with all the great reviews. Good service, excellent food - Spanish with a twist - and a wine list to die for! Thoroughly recommended. Only one tiny gripe - plates weren't warmed so food could have stayed warmer longer.

Try the tasting menu with its unusual and perfectly executed dishes, some prepared at the table such as a whole turbot filleted and spicy tuna tartare created. The Colombian waitress was very well trained and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

All of the foreigners are sent upstairs to the mezzanine and galloped through their meals as quickly as possible. My waitress was the rudest server I've ever encountered in Spain, a country with a distinguished tradition of hospitality. Staff speak minimal English, so it's impossible to navigate a meal here without a little Spanish. Prices are steep if you order... More

This place is for those seeking a proper sit down meal instead of the many taps options in Burgos. I had the Menu Castellano for Euro 25.50 which was excellent value considering the top notch setting, great service and very good food. A nice Ribeira wine was only 2.- Euro and coffee for 1.80 made these extras cheaper than many... More

Got off the ferry late and drove three hours to Burgos. What a lovely Spanish gem. It was chilly and foggy but that couldn't spoil the beauty of the town. We headed for the restaurant and although it was late ,1045pm, the staff were very welcoming. We opted for the taster menu and were rewarded by course after course of... More

We had an excellent experience in this restaurant. We chose the tasting menu (you need to all agree on the table on the meals)and we were not disappointed. Food was tasty and original, service was fast (somehow too fast as there was very few people) and very polite. Prices were high but reasonable for the quality

Discovered this place a few years back very randomly, and every visit since has been a delight. The degustation menu is lush, and ridiculously affordable. I also like the fact you can choose what it'll include or leave it to the chef. Wine selection is great, and service is friendly with a smile. What more do you want
