We went without reserving a table, the kiss were starving and the manager made an exception for us to ear in the area of the bar, the food was excellent, we ordered cecina de León and rabo de toro that was perfect, we enjoyed the place. We will come back.

Had an excellent meal with an old friend, where the excellent beef was perfectly prepared, complemented by a good salad and set off by a robust Ribera del Duero tinto wine, which made for a memorable feast! León is famous for its beef, and this was a shining example of why!

My husband and I ate here in September, 2016. The restaurant is within easy walking distance of the Parador, where we were staying. We started by sharing a half portion of Jamon Iberico--delicious, moist ham from the black pig fed on acorns. We then shared the Paletilla de cordero--lamb shoulder--and it was outstanding. Finally, we shared the rabo de ternera--veal... More

We were looking for something with good T/A ratings that was out of the tourist center. This place seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately, it appears the restaurant has become tourist unfriendly. We arrived at 8:30 and the place was empty. The waiter/owner gave us menus and told us he was out of lamb -- speaking a mile a minute.... More

It was all good, the ham, the tomatoes, the wine, the chuleton, the dessert, even the coffee... I guess our perception had to do with the nice suggestions and treatment from the owner who personally took our order. She was so nice... Totally recommended...

Perhaps we went at the right time (early June) but I don't recognise the comments about poor service or being overpriced. We were recommended this restaurant by the people at the Parador and believe they were right. It was quiet at 8:30 on a Saturday night, but that is early for the Spanish to eat; it was still quiet after... More

If you want to have a good grilled meat, that's the place. The wines are good, and the rpices are reasonable. But the service is poor and slow. There is an excessive food smell. It does not deserve the current ranking.

If you want a huge steak, this is the place for you. The server couldn't speak any English so be sure you can tell him how you want it cooked. Ours was quite raw. The starter was grilled asparagus with some cured ham sliced right off the leg (hoof still on it.) Everything was just OK but it was ridiculously... More

About three weeks into a month long trip to Spain, my wife rebelled against all of the Michelin star places I had been taking her to. I found Parrilla Louzao on Tripadvisor and it saved my marriage. The first night we arrived to find a menu of direct food, perfectly grilled and presented. Our first dinner was a fantastic plate... More

We found this restaurant n Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. There are only six tables and as a result the service is friendly and personal. The food did not disappoint either!
