This is a great place we came across, the service was impeccable and friendly. Both the hostess and barman were friendly and gave us some good restaurant recommendations too. You must stop here for a few.

We have visited this lovely little Bar repeatedly on 3 trips to Barcelona, It is always welcoming with a good atmosphere. Good for morning coffee, an afternoon snack or a late, late night drink. A young feel, but oldies are made just as welcome. Highly recommend a visit.

Perfect little bar for a drink after dinner. Went back every evening. Showed the football so my boyfriend was happy. Tiny little spiral staircase to upstairs was very cool.

Great setting in a cool neighbourhood - drinks are well priced and the empanadas are good after a few drinks.

Been here a few times over the last five years or so. A vert nice little bar on the main Passeig del Born in La Ribera (this part always known as the Born). A couple of choices of wine, and the Montsant one is very nice and a very reasonable price. Staff are very quick and courteous, and one of... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
