When you enjoy eating mussels than this is a good place to eat. I had a combination of fresh mussels and clams with artichokes and garlic. Fresh and tasty for a very decent price (12 euro). They have many varieties. Besides mussels also the traditional Spanish tapas to start with. The dark chocolate pie was delicious, the portion almost too... More

I like mussels…yeah, I like mussels. They serve mussels, lots of mussels with a huge variety of toppings and cooking broths. It's not fancy but it does EXACTLY what it says on the tin. Well cooked, big, fat, juicy mussels. The chips are very good too. Loved it.

Incredible local restaurant which specializes in fresh Mussels cooked in over 20 different styles and fresh tapas. Recommend reserving a table since this is very popular among locals. Walking distance from the Plaza de Cataluyña.

I went with the family, as it god really good reviews and they really like musclos. I don't. I don't care if they eat them, but it would be nice if they had something vegan in the menu apart from green salad. And well, it wasn't cheap, which makes it worse.

We were staying in a hotel about 50 yards away so we decided to try La Muscleria on our first evening. Very pleasant surprise, friendly service and the food and drinks arrived at the right times. Extensive mussel menu, I had the Roquefort version which was awesome, my wife had the pesto one which she said was the best ever.... More

If you're anything like me and love mussels, then this is the place for you. You get a bang for your buck here and for 9-12 euros, you're brought out a huge steaming pot of 30+ perfectly prepared mussels. Delicious!

It is nice place to eat outside it's near familia sangrada, the food is delicious, but they working time is not good, so you need to check it before you want to go there, they do not work in the evening... But the prices are good.

It's a trendy restaurant with the seating downstairs. We had beautiful octopus to start and then ordered mussels 2 ways for our main. We got them in a curry sauce and in a creamy mushroom and bacon sauce. It was obvious that the mussels were precooked and then heated in the sauce but they were tasty none the less and... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
