This restaurant is in cathedral square. It is a stylish place with a tasty menu and not too expensive. The staff are good and very attentive. We felt like valued customers. We had been in on a couple of occasions last year and we were determined to return when in Barcelona. It was worth it!

This was a really poor experience for a really well located restaurant. The waiter was disinterested from the start. We ordered bread as part of the starter and it came as two squares of bread with tomato purée and oil on it. My girlfriend ordered tuna and got another dish as the waiter was distracted. I ordered seafood paella and... More

We stopped here whilst wondering the Gothic Quarter, just for a quick beer. We decided to get some bread with tomato and olive oil as well. We ordered one, but when it came to pay they seemed to have charged us for two. When we queried this, the waiter stated that we had ordered 'bread for two', and that we... More

Wouldn't go unless no place else open. Sangria was blase, seafood salad-meh, olives not palatable. Seems to largely cater to unwitting tourists.

Inside. It seems a bit like a cross between victoriana England and an American diner. We received prompt attention and good quality food and drink. Maybe the service is a little nonchalant at gone midnight but the experience was pleasurable enough.

Unfortunately, my second visit in 2-day interval has been a fiasco. After a great start on the first night when the food was quite tasty, we revisited. I've been looking forward to my meal but the soup came out oversalted and was followed by a salad that just tasted sour and salty. The waiter answer to that was that the... More

We have been to Barcelona many times, and although we have our favorite restaurants, we of course always enjoy finding some new ones. On this visit, we were staying at the Hotel Colon, right across from the Taverna de Bisbe. We checked into the hotel after our overseas flight and realized that getting some lunch was a top priority. How... More

We chose to have our last meal of the holiday here. We weren't disappointed. The venue was great. The waitress from South America was outstanding. A real gem. The food was really good and good value. We decided on sorbet covered with Cava to finish the meal. A great find. Would recommend a visit if you are in Barcelona.

We stumbled into this busy place at lunch time expecting a tourist trap. Was pleasantly surprised by the prompt, courteous servers and the cod dish I ordered. Only minor point was it was a bit more expensive than other restaurants and I noticed they charge a whopping 20% extra to sit outside so watch out for this.

We had a late lunch here today....onion soup, tapas, and wine. Menus were in multiple languages and our waiter spoke English well. Nice little place near the cathedral. They have a lunch special that looked like a great deal, but we weren't that hungry.
