We stumbled on this fantastic Tapas bar and wasn't disappointed, fantastic food, great service, great value. Try the Iberian ham platter 👍, will definitely be going back 10/10.

This place had it all - lovely live music outdoors, great service, delicious food, and the best sangria I had in all of Spain. All for a very reasonable price. Can't wait to go back and try it again.

Must be that most over-ratings for this place come from tourists, for the quality of its food is, whilst fair, far from excellent. Having said that, the picturesque ambience, location and very balanced price makes this a very good naive visitor choice. I do recommend this restaurant for budget first-timers in Barcelona, as it will be money well spent, above... More

My husband and I ate here last week Sunday February 12, 2017. Food was excellent, we shared the goat cheese salad as we were desperately in need of veggies! We also had the bread with the tomato and garlic, as well as the ham. great staff.

We took our son who was studying in Barcelona and his friends for a true tapas experience on our first night in Barcelona. We had garlic prawns, pepper on toast, mushrooms, roasted red peppers on garlic, beautiful thin sliced cured meat ( I don't eat pork but it was a big hit). Thin sliced salmon and gueso con miel (baked... More

My friend and I went in October, 2016, and were very happy with our meal. The Three Goat Cheese salad is not to be missed. It's a huge portion and would do as a full meal for one person or as a shared item among 2-3 people along with other choices. The Iberian ham was also delicious. We asked for... More

Ate at Set de Born on evening on our accommodations recommendation, we were not disappointed, quality tapas with larger portions than we thought. Has salami, cheese and salad. All served quickly and well plated. We had a bottle of very reasonably priced red to wash it down. We were so pleased we returned the following night when our meal did... More

We had a late meal of several delicious tapas and glasses of "clara," a refreshing cocktail of Estrella beer and lemonade. Some of the tapas we tried were salami, garlic shrimp, baby beans and pan con tomate - all were terrific. The restaurant is small and was packed the night we went (seemingly with locals), but service was quick and... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
