Nice and tasty seafood paella and we would return. However, if I'm being picky, could have done with some more fish in it.

We each ordered the ceviche. It was served in tigers milk. Such a fresh acidic flavor. We shared a yummy spinach salad. We'd had plenty to eat but the desserts sounded amazing. We didn't resist. We didn't regret it either. The most smooth and delicious chocolate fondant with creme anglaise. For me, a chocolate hazelnut brownie floating in creme anglaise... More

We looked for good tapas and saw recommendations that their tapas is top notch, hence, went there to eat. We had a few tapas, drank sangria, not the traditional one but created by the restaurant, it's very very good and refreshing. We also tried parella without much expectation, it turned out to be the best parella we had in this... More

Fabulous dinner last night- every course was delicious. I tried sea bass ceviche for the first time and loved it. For most of the evening we were served by Alan and he looked after us so well, as did the other staff. Would definitely recommend a visit to Casa Delfin - wonderful food, every course was a delight, and very... More

We found this place on our second night in Barcelona. The service was great, quick but you didn't feel at all rushed. Nice range to the menu without being over complicated. The tapas food was delicious esp liked the anchovies. Recommend the cheesecake dessert too. Would recommend for a nice night out in a place with a vibrant atmosphere that... More

Good food and a beautiful building. Friendly staff, and a good selection of cocktails as well as gin. We couldn't really find anything to fault this place. You might pay less further from the centre of Barcelona, but given the location, the prices are quite reasonable too.

The restaurant is located across from the born museum and two shops over is a gelateria. Great environment and cozy. The waiters/waitresses are very nice and quick to get you whatever you ask for. Silvio was our waiter. He was amazing. Very helpful and made us feel welcome. The restaurant has an old cozy feel to it with a lively... More

Having wandered in without booking,we were made very welcome. The restaurant was a lively place, very traditional in its setting with a good and varied menu. We were looked after by Silvio, who had a great sense of humour as well as being very good at his job of looking after us. We ate fish and pork ,both of which were excellent... More

We were checking out the menu outside when Silvio enticed us inside with promises of the best paella in Barcelona. Silvio was very helpful and personable and spoke English. The paella was very good and we returned the next night. Silvio remembered us and advised us that the sole was fresh and large enough to share. It was presented to... More

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
