After being hassled by so many people thrusting menus at us,this was a great find. After reading the menu uninterrupted and going inside, the man on the reception printed out the menu in English. The food was excellent, as was the sevice and compared to other places was not over priced although this restaurant is part of a hotel.

Quite quiet and nice restaurant. Came in late (half an hour before they closed). We were almost alone in the restaurant. The waitresses were really sweet and gave us good service. It's a typical hotel restaurant. We went there due to recommendations on trip advisor and was kind of dissapointed regarding the food experience. Croquettes was really good (appetizer), main... After seeing good reviews online I decided to try it out with a few friends. We got to the restaurant a few minutes before indoor seating opened, not realizing. The manager of the restaurant was very kind and eager to accommodate us by allowing us to sit indoors. We ordered the recommended sangria and did not regret it. It was... More

On a late evening, having just arrived in Barcelona, we took Tripadvisor's advice on this restaurant. We were glad we did. For 11 euro, we got a delicious 3 course fixe prix meal with wine! The service was great as well. What a way to begin our days in Barcelona.

Stay at the Hotel Catalonia Port and this is their 'in house' restaurant. The evening menu is nice with a reasonable selection on offer and raising no complaints from our family. This is a very good value option at a set price inclusive of three courses and free drink. If you are a passing tourist looking for somewhere to eat... More

My husband and I are staying at Hotel Catalonia for our honeymoon before we leave for our cruise tomorrow. We were both very impressed with the hotel and even more impressed with the restaurant El Raco del Port. Being from the US we were a little surprised that they didn't open until 8:30pm but that is the norm in Spain.... More

Having enjoyed three lunches in a variety of very busy, noisy restaurants we decided that the restaurant within one of the big hotels might provide something different. Like the other restaurants the "menú del día" provided a good choice and, at €11, excellent value. We actually found it easier to make our choices in French, rather than English, but do... More

Besides me, there were only one or two tables occupied in the restaurant. Nevertheless, I had trouble drawing the attention of the waiters who seemed inert, aimless and incompetent and don't speak English. One of them pretended to speak English, but it was not possible to really communicate with them. I didn't like my plate of ravioli, in fact it... More
