Our concierge recommended this restaurant for tapas. It was super fun. The waiters had a ton of personality and really hovered over us with food, wine, and commentary. We tried a lot of different dishes and they were all delicious. Reservations are a must as...More

So first off, you want to sit at the bar not a table. The staff interaction is a "show" itself and really makes the whole experience fun. The Tapas was excellent and reasonably priced. Follow your waiter's recommendations...they know their food. Everyone knows about this...More

Enjoy this quaint and friendly bar and restaurant. Food is exquisite. Fried anchovies were unexpectedly delicious. Fresh and not too salty. Lobster. Service great.

We asked our hotel for local recommendations to avoid the typical tourist food spots in Barcelona. We were only visiting here for 4 days and came back to eat at this spot twice! We enjoyed lunch and dinner here. I wouldn't worry about a reservation...More

Lucky for us, my friends and stumbled in early, before 6pm. Even at this hour we couldn't get a table and had to eat at the bar which didn't bother us any. All the fish is displayed on beds of ice in a glass case...More

This tapas bar was highly recommended by the concierge at our hotel. We made a reservation, sat at the tapas bar (as opposed to the more formal restaurant) and watched the fun! The tapas staff are very engaging and appear to enjoy their work immensely,...More

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an

authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day

I would strongly recommend The Aged Beef Steak with Foie for one of your main courses. It's 24€ but worth it. Don't forget to make a reservation.
