Lovely, sort of high end spot in the gothic quarter. You can pick a bottle and they'll uncork it for you or you can get the house wine by the glass. Nice place for one or two drinks and then you can keep strolling through the area to find some other hidden gems.

Stopped in for a glass of wine and was thoroughly blown away by the Zona d' Ombra. Excellent wine selections. Unpretentious. Relaxing and authentic. They know their wine. Highly recommended! Be sure and ask the fellow behind the bar about Dan Brown - he'll tell you quite a story!

Having had some pretty dreadful Tapas in some really average bars, the Zona d'Ombra was a very pleasant surprise. The staff were great and very hard working, so don't expect instant service. This is a place to take your time and enjoy. You can have wine by the glass from a really good list or buy a bottle of your... More

So, #MWC17, aka Mobile World Congress 2017. Three of us decided to explore Barcelona's old town, and since we had an appointment for dinner, and having walked 20km on foot, we went looking for a snack. All the other restaurants in the area looked too touristy (the "menu with pictures in six languages including German and Russian outside" variety), but... More

Found this place by chance on a saturday morning. We had lunch here and loved it. The croquetas were amazing and very original (they don't fry them but put the mix in the oven). The cecina was also good and the skewers wonderful and tender. Great selection of Spanish wines by the bottle to choose from. Prices a bit (10-15%)... More

Had a wonderful experience at Zona's. I am not much of a wine drinker but my family is so they reluctantly drug me along. I have to say after my experience at Zona's I am now converted! I found our waitress knowledgeable and friendly and was very helpful in accommodating my unique taste buds. The tapas were great too. This... More

A selection of excellent wines from all over Spain, but with some emphasis on Catalan wines. Wines by the glass, "en copa" cover a range of tastes, and weekly specials give you the opportunity to try grape varieties that you may not have heard of before. Many more bottles are available for sale to take away, or to enjoy on... More

I went this place 3 times during my 7 night stay in Barcelona. More you go, their service got better. Many wine-by the glass with Tapas. The Tapas are not highest quality but it is better than other places. Enjoyed a lot.

Excellent advice on Spanish wines with a great selection available by the glass or an even bigger selection in the wine shop (€4.50 corkage). Simple, but excellent food makes the experience one worth savouring for as long as possible. Finish with cake and sweet wine for a treat that's cheap and great.

We were on our way from point A to point B, and saw this place out of the corner of our eyes. It turned out that it was one of the best lunches we had in Barcelona! The tapas were served in cups, and each one was positively absolutely delicious. The place is famous for its wine. Although I don't... More
