Still one of my favorite places to eat in Barcelona. The food is original and tasty. I started going there in 2012 and the menu has changed a bit but it's a great meal. If you don't want to wait forever (which is not bad at the bodega next door) go at 7 PM for drinks and stay at the... More

This is a wonderful laid back bar with a vibe that invites you in to stay. The weather was warm enough for us to sit at the outdoor terrace and enjoy some delicious tapas.

We came across the restaurant and decided to check it out, given how busy it was on the patio. After some what of a wait, the server came around to take our order, but we did not receive a drink menu, so we had to request that first. The food was excellent and came out of the kitchen within a... More

We really liked this bar. We had dinner at the terrace and have to say everything was delicious. The kitchen closes at 23.00. The prices are reasonable, the service is good. Definitely coming back!

Excellent place: rapid service, decent food and fair prices. We ended up spending hours there. It has the feeling of being a proper café, hard to say exactly what that is but easy to recognize. There's an excellent bookshop out the back as well

We stopped here for a beer on our way home one night. The place was pretty full with tables outside also for eating. The food looked good, and I was gutted we hadn't eaten there as it seemed like a great spot for a bit to eat or a get together with friends! The bar itself is small, but with... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
