We came to see the "clásico" (Barça-Madrid) with some foreign friends. First of all, we didn't like the fact that you need to pay 10€ for entrance because of the match. You get a voucher at the entrance that you can exchange for drinks or food valued the 10€. If you though order one single beer, the voucher is gone... More

I visited the GP with my wife and daughter this afternoon and was very disappointed. I have been here many times for food with my work colleagues and the quality has really gone downhill over the past while. We had nachos to start. Well in fact everything arrived at the same time but so be it. They were pretty much... More

We went to this pub to watch a Barcelona game. They were short of seats but what else can you expect for a soccer game! The drinks were very cheap (2 eu sagria, 3 eu tall glass of beer) and the chicken wings were amazing. The service was also right on top of things!

Good selection of drinks and a DJ livens it up later. What really makes this place are the exceptional staff. Great table service. Well worth a visit.

Best place to enjoy a beer and listen to music. They have wide range of beers and excellent food (burgers/nachos). If you want to watch a game, it's the place to be !

My friend an I were In Barcelona for the weekend and went there for some food and watch the football which was really good as they had about 6 or 7 screens all with different games on and the food was lovely. Will definitely be there again next time we are over 5*

We ended a two week holiday in Barcelona and were looking for a bit of normalcy for dinner, when we happened upon The George Payne. Back home in Canada, there are Irish pubs everywhere. This restaurant was a bit slow to catch on when we arrived (it took the servers about 15 minutes to notice us). But once they did,... More

We spent an evening in this bar for the Ireland v Wales soccer match. it was great fun and entertaining. Bar food ok, sandwiches too big for our mouths! It is a young bar.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
