My wife and I booked Roca Moo many months ago from Australia. We were both slightly apprehensive given some of the mixed reviews on TA but this turned out to be completely unfounded. Our evening was sublime. We chose the tasting menu and the food was exquisitely presented and creative. Approach this restaurant with an open mind and give in... More

This is the kind of restaurant where you go and only wait to get surprised. You can choose between two menus , one traditional and the other one more modern called Roca. We have chosse the Roca experience and enjoy alot the surprise dishes, each one give us more surprise. The service ambience is lovely. It's not cheap as always but... More

A group of us had the tasting menu. The restaurant coped admirably with some special requirements and provided special alternatives. The staff explained the various items in a friendly manner. The courses were uniformly excellent and the (nine) wines complemented them well. Everything ran smoothly.

Original dishes. Good wine-list. Arrogant, incompetent servers. Can do much better for the price. Needs work.

We had a nice meal but one of our friends arrived a bit late and we couldn't even have a simple change to have an additional meal... never had an experience like this. With the price you pay here, the service is the worst you can get...

Food and service were outstanding, but the presentation and creative flair made this a fun meal. We had the classic tasting menu and a local Rioja.

A memorable time with friends. In a chic but cosy atmosphere, everything is made to make you feel confortable. The 10 courses menu was divine and the range of wine matches perfectly. Not to mention the excellent and cheerful service. Once again, exquisite!

Having enjoyed meals here last year I was a bit disappointed with the quality control (small item but 63 degree egg was served not fully cooked - white was consistency of soup). I must say the amuse bouche are great (and there are quite a few) - wish I could choose a menu of just these! Waiters - oh my,... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
