Reviewed yesterday NEW

Excellent veggie choices. Really liked the aubergine with couscous and the asparagus. Cava was good - had to ask for a couple of flat glasses to be changed but this was done without any hassle. Good street side tables and plenty of atmosphere from musicians performing nearby

We had a very pleasant lunch. The interior design was well done with attractive wood and glass design. I had the house eggs Benedict served on a nice roll, accented with grilled asparagus. There are plenty of tables outside, but the air conditioning drew me in. A specialty is wine spritzers served with individual soda siphons.

We should have left the restaurant, when the Chips were served in plastic bags - which we were to open by ourselves. But we stayed and had the most disguisting darkbrown and burned paella that we have ever tasted! Probably not cooked this week. When the waitress cleaned the table and carried the paella - almost untouched - out again,... More

Wow, try "ensalada de la taberna" with amazing chef's sauce. I would recommend it to both a lunch and a dinner.

Wonderful food, but each tapas dish is like a full meal! Friendly staff, who put up with my bad Spanish, lovely setting behind the basilica.

Staff members are all very nice and kind. Food? forget it. Cous cous with vegetables too oily, you need to eat bread with it. Eggs, chorizo and chips... can you please cook the eggs?.

After spending 3 days in Barcelona, this resto caught our attention, because of its choice location. Don't believe the waiters and whatever they say, we were told that the paella de mariscos is the typical spanish paella but it was the most disgusting paella i've ever had in my life. 3 pcs of over cooked mussels, 2 pcs of peeled... The maitre'D answered that their seafood pealla is typical typical Spanish (típico típico español), guess what? it wasn't. It seemed like the chef overdosed on squid broth. I've lived for many years in Spain since I was a student and several years afterwards for work. I also keep on coming back but the food here is among the worst spanish... More

We came across this restaurant after visiting the beach. We ordered tapas, a burger and some drinks. One tapas didn't come, the chips with burger were inedible (they were yellow, oily and a horrible taste), there was no sign of any alcohol in the Mojitos. The tapas that did come was average. The service was very average, the wait staff... More
